Mother Nature was generous in enabling itself to create this green oasis right in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. It drew bays and coves in aerodynamic forms, it shaped slopes, hills and mountains in exotic formats; it provided warmth, sun and humidity; it tore it with fresh watercourses forming rivers, lakes and waterfalls; and, as someone who puts the cherry on top of the cake, it covered it with a luxurious green blanket, which is the image of São Tomé: a practically untouched paradise, like few in Africa and around the World.
